A bilingual British-French citizen, Howard grew up in London, England and Geneva, Switzerland. In 2015, he moved to New York where he has remained a student at Columbia University. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics-Statistics in 2019, Master of Arts in Quantitative Methods in May 2020, and is currently a candidate for a Master of Science in Business Analytics.
Over the course of his academic studies, Howard lived and worked in over 7 countries. He has worked as a data scientist, business analyst, laboratory researcher and equity analyst.
He is working towards his second publication, based on his first master's thesis. His research areas of interest include deep learning for portfolio management and optimization, computational linguistics and text summarization, and their interdisciplinary applications. He enjoys working with and mining big data, looking for value in places that have not been investigated before.
